Mr. Weidner is a veteran of the courtroom, having tried numerous cases to verdict in his 20-plus years as an attorney.  During his time in law school at Ohio Northern University, he was elected to the Law Review and also received an American Jurisprudence Award for Academic Excellence by securing the school's highest grade in Torts.  Mr. Weidner concentrates his practice in defending individuals and companies against claims related to negligence.  He is admitted to practice in New York and his professional memberships include the New York State Bar Association, the Erie County Bar Association and the Defense Trial Lawyers Association of Western New York.  Mr. Weidner frequently lectures to other attorneys at Continuing Legal Education seminars and has spoken on topics that include:  successful handling of wrongful death actions, building civil trial skills, admissibility of evidence and expert testimony in New York and prosecuting and defending medical malpractice claims.  In November 2007, Mr. Weidner was elected as an advocate level member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and was also named in Buffalo Business First's "Who's Who In Law" as well as Strathmore's "Who's Who."  Mr. Weidner has been with Brown & Tarantino for 10 years and is a managing partner of the firm's Buffalo office.
