Steven W. Kraus, Esq.

Mr. Kraus received his B.A. in history and political science from the University of Richmond in 1982 and his J.D. from the University of Bridgeport School of Law in 1985. Mr. Kraus attended Albany Law School during the academic year of 1984-85. For the past fifteen years, Mr. Kraus has concentrated his practice in the representation of the medical professions with emphasis in the defense of medical malpractice actions. Inclusive of this focus has been the advocacy of physicians and hospitals in all phases of litigation including trial. Other areas of practice include complex litigation involving medical and non-medical products liability, toxic torts, and general liability matters. Mr. Kraus has also lectured at in-service training seminars for hospital-based nurses. Mr. Kraus is admitted to practice in the States of New York and Connecticut and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. Prior to joining Brown & Tarantino, LLC, Mr. Kraus was partner and trial counsel at the firm of Pilkington & Leggett, P.C.
