Colleen P. Fahey, Esq.



Ms. Fahey received her undergraduate and law degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1985 and 1989, respectively. She was the recipient in law school of the Robert J. Connelly Award for trial technique. Ms. Fahey was admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York in 1990 and has concentrated her practice in defense litigation, including the defense of medical malpractice claims, nursing home litigation, and motor vehicle claims.  She also represents families with children who have special needs to ensure that these children obtain the appropriate educational services to which they are entitled under state and federal laws.  Ms. Fahey is admitted to practice in both the Federal and New York State Courts. Ms. Fahey's professional memberships include the New York State Bar Association, the Erie County Bar Association, and the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Fahey is the secretary to the Board of Directors of the Children's Guild Foundation where she has served on the Board since 2008.  Volunteer activities include past membership of the Board of Directors of Moving Miracle, Inc., a non-for-profit dance program servicing the disabled.  Ms. Fahey has participated in the Ride for Roswell, the Corporate Challenge and the Heritage Center's Foundation 5K run-walk.  Ms. Fahey has support the American Heart Association's annual Buffalo-Niagara Heart Walk.  Ms. Fahey was formerly associated with the Buffalo, New York, law firm of Roach, Brown, McCarthy, & Gruber, P.C. where she practiced for seven years.
