Ms. Cline received her B.A. in Legal Studies with a Minor in Business from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1993. During her undergraduate career and the years that followed, Ms. Cline worked in several law firms in various support positions, gaining experience in the areas of large toxic tort cases, personal injury, and medical malpractice. She attended her first year of law school at Cleveland Marshall College of Law where she was in the top 11% of her class and received the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Property and the West Group Corpus Juris Secundum Award in Property. Thereafter, Ms. Cline transferred to the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law where she obtained her J.D. in 1999, and was admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York in 2000. While in law school, Ms. Cline served a judicial clerk internship with Honorable William M. Skretny at the United States District Court, Western District of New York during the summer of 1997. In the fall of 1997, Ms. Cline was admitted to the Buffalo Environmental Law Journal, and served as a Book Review Editor in 1998-1999. Ms. Cline joined Brown & Tarantino in January, 1998.
