Ms. Beck graduated from Pace University Law School in 1985. She received the American Jurisprudence Award for Insurance Law, competed in the Advanced Moot Court Competition, and was a member of the Moot Court Board. Ms. Beck received her undergraduate degree from the College of St. Rose. Ms. Beck gained extensive experience in the defense of medical malpractice cases against physicians and hospitals during her seven years as an associate at Martin, Clearwater & Bell in New York City. While at Martin, Clearwater & Bell, Ms. Beck was involved in all aspects of the defense of medical malpractice cases from initial pleadings and depositions through trial. She was also involved in appellate practice at both the State and Federal levels. While at Martin, Clearwater & Bell, Ms. Beck participated in education seminars presented to the attending physicians and residents at New York Hospital. Ms. Beck was admitted to practice law in New York in 1986 and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the United States Court of Appeals in the Second Circuit. Ms. Beck joined Brown & Tarantino, LLC in 2000 and continues to focus primarily on medical malpractice litigation.
